Who Is Involved with the Stadium Project?

In December of 2004, the Whitefish Bay School Board directed the School District to develop a fund-raising committee to look into the scope of renovating the existing Stadium and feasibility of raising the necessary funds for its implementation.  Representatives from the Whitefish Bay Soccer Club, Whitefish Bay Public Education Foundation, Whitefish Bay High School Football, Jr. Blue Dukes Football, Duke Pride Sports Association and the School District as well interested alumni and residents convened in March of 2005 to develop the projects goals and ascertain the amount of donations required to complete the project.

Keith Kalberer and Karen Letizia were named co-chairs of the Fundraising Committee for this campaign.  Members of the committee are:  Steve Bednarczyk, Tom Fehring, Carl Fuda, John Hainze, Chris Leadley, Don Levings, Margaret Milkie, Jay Miller, Ron Nelson and Jim Tietjen.

The Fundraising Committee created  The Blue Dukes Society.  Honorary Committee Members of the Blues Dukes Society are:  Chairman, Blaine Rieke, Karen Ehrke, Mark LeGrand, Greg Oberland and Dan Schneck. 

Soon a search among alums as well as interested community members will begin to find volunteers to help plan and execute Glory Days 2007, which will be held over Labor Day weekend.  Please return to the website for continuing updates.
